Testing and certification are among the most important aspects of our business. Our products are thoroughly tested and certified in accordance with international standards, and our business processes are certified to the relevant ISO standards.
CERTIFICATES & TESTS
Our marine and offshore products are fire-tested in accordance with SOLAS and the IMO 2010 FTP Code, Part 3 by internationally accredited testing bodies such as RISE, DBI and DNV and hold EC/MED and USCG certificate
The doors are tested in accordance with the following fire resistance classes:
A-Class: exposed to fire for 60 minutes and must meet the requirements for stability and integrity within this time. The specific class designations (A-0, A-15, A-30, A-60) reveal the insulation quality of the systems with respect to given temperature limits.
B-Class: exposed to fire for 30 minutes and must meet the requirements for stability and integrity within this time. The specific class designations (B-0, B-15, B-30) reveal the insulation quality of the systems with respect to given temperature limits
As fire safety has a direct impact on life and health, the strictest requirements apply. The certification requires independent third-party verification of manufacturing and testing, followed by annual external inspections.
