SURFACE FINISHES

The surface treatments available for our products include powder coating, electrogalvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, and chrome plating.

POWDER COATING

In our own paint shop, we powder-coat our door leaves and frames using an environmentally friendly, emission-free process. It is solvent-free, and any excess powder paint can be reused.

As standard, we apply RAL 9010, but we also offer a number of other standard colours to choose from, all of which are marine-approved with the ‘Ratt’ mark. We can also supply most RAL and NCS colours at an additional cost, and will provide a quotation on request

Hot-dip galvanizing

Hot-dip galvanizing is one of the most effective methods for protecting steel against corrosion. The initial cost of hot-dip galvanizing is low, and it has a very long maintenance-free service life.

Varmförzinkning är en av de mest effektiva metoderna för att korrosionsskydda stål. Initialkostnaden för varmförzinkning är låg och den underhållsfria livslängden är mycket lång. Detta innebär att varmförzinkning har en mycket bra livslängdskostnad i jämförelse med andra korrosionskyddsmetoder.

Varmförzinkat stål har från början en silverglänsande yta som så småningom övergår till en grå färgton. Denna färgton smälter in i de flesta miljöer på ett naturligt sätt.

Chromium Plating

We can fit PVC film to our interior doors on request. As well as providing an attractive finish, the film also offers protection against wear and tear, dirt and moisture. Quotations available on request.
