NEW DOORS ARE OPENING

Momec’s journey began in the small Småland village of Bottnaryd. For more than 70 years, our steel doors have ensured safety on board ships, ferries, oil platforms and other offshore installations. We will certainly remain in this sector and aim to grow there, but we are also taking a step onto dry land. This involves a long-term commitment to steel and security doors for properties where high standards are required. For the past couple of years, Momec has been part of the Weland Group. This has given us additional resources to grow and develop. It also means that Weland Plåt, which specialises in contract manufacturing of sheet metal and tubes, now operates under the Momec banner.

A modern machine park, our own powder coating facility and, not least, a dedicated workforce mean we can quickly adapt production to your needs. There are several good reasons to choose a door from Momec. The fact that they are properly tested and certified is one of the most important. You can be sure that no door leaves our factory without meeting the relevant requirements. Ongoing testing by internationally accredited bodies such as RISE, DBI and DNV ensures, for example, that our marine doors meet high standards for fire safety, insulation and strength.

Have you driven along the R40 and crossed the border between Västergötland and Småland recently? If so, you may have noticed that Momec’s premises have undergone extensive refurbishment. Our owner, Weland, is investing heavily in a project that will provide Momec with increased production capacity and a modern facility.
